(approx. 250 homes and 360kW of clean energy generation), Local Power is
launching it's Buying Group #3 project.
The Local Power Buying Group #3 is now closed
with over 100 orders.

26 June 2009 - The REC price is dropping
9 June 2009 - The SHCP rebate has ended early replaced with the Solar
Credits scheme (REC multiplier).

Grid Parity is getting closer each year.
As the price of grid electricity continues to increase (Queensland -
July 2007 11.37%, July 2008
5.38%, July 2009
15.7%?) and the price of PV solar continues to come down as it has
over the last 20 years, it's expected that more homes and community
buildings will install solar and generate a large percentage of their
daytime electricity onsite. |
