Welcome to the Local Power website!

Local Power is a group of people interested in sustainable power generation which is local and community owned.  PV solar based electricity is one way we can help make this happen.  Click here to learn more about PV solar.

After the success of the Local Power Buying Group #1 project (approx. 140 homes and 200kW of clean energy generation), Local Power is launching it's Buying Group #2 project. 

The Local Power Buying Group #2 is now open!    Last time we were overwhelmed with 150 orders for BG#1, when we budgeted for 50, and had to close it early.  We will be closing BG#2 when we get to around 150 again.  This could be in just a few days, or a week or so.  We are unsure how long it will be open, so please don't hold off if you intend to participate.  Click here for more information on Buying Group #2.
