The Role

As our Warehouse and Inventory Manager, you will be the single point of contact for all logistics across both Local Power and Simply Covers. Your core mission is to bring order, efficiency, and reliability to our stock, assembly, and dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Logistics & Stock Movement

  1. Inventory & Manufacturing Flow
    • Stock Control: Take full charge of organizing inventory across our storage units. You are responsible for regular stock-takes and maintaining accurate stock counts.
    • Procurement Alerts: Proactively monitor stock levels (for both solar and manufacturing materials) and notify the management team immediately when procurement is needed.
    • Manufacturing Prep: Organize raw materials and stock in the warehouse to ensure they are easily accessible and “production-ready” for the cover manufacturing team.
  1. Simply Covers Operations (Shared job role of Assembly & Dispatch)
    • Assembly: Perform light assembly tasks, including putting together inverter and battery covers.
    • Packing: Wrap and pack finished covers to ensure they are secure and protected for shipping across Australia.
    • Dispatch Management: Organize all shipping information, generate labels, and coordinate with couriers for timely order pickups.
  1. Local Power Operations (Job Kitting)
    • Kitting: Prepare, pick, and “kit” all components (panels, inverters, racking, etc.) for our solar installation jobs, ensuring our install teams are ready to go each morning without delay.
  1. Warehouse Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment at all times, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines.
